2. Isaac CARPENTER Jr. was born about 1775 in Pennsylvania and died about 1845 in Rapides Parish, Louisiana.

Isaac married Ellindor -Mccullock MEKELAR, daughter of William /Mccullock MEKELAR and Mary /Kerstad BERSTAND, about 1800 in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. Ellindor was born about 1775.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 3 M    i. Alexandre Isaac CARPENTER was born in 1798 and died about 1865.

+ 4 M    ii. William CARPENTER Sr. was born in 1799.
