            Secretary of State’s Office

 

I, William Hill, 4 Secretary of State in and for the state aforesaid, do certify that it appears from the muster roles of the Carolina line of this State in the revolutionary war, that Jeremiah Walker a Sergt. in Capt. Lytle’s Company of the 10th Regiment entered the [service] the 7th day of April, 1781 for the term of 12 months and that he left the service on the 7th day of April, 1782.

                                                            3rd day of March, 1834.
