We the undersigned do severally and solemnly swear that we will appraise all the property belonging to the estate of the late John Walker and Eugene Egan in partnership which may be exhibited to us, to the best of our judgement and knowledge --- So help us God ---

This day the seventeenth of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and forty, being thereto requested, I George King Parish Judge in and for the aforesaid Parish has proceeded to the residence of Eugene Egan in the Opelousas Parish and distant about twenty five miles from the Court house, in order to make an estimation inventory of the property belonging to the succession of the late John Walker deceased and the said Eugene Egan in partnership -- and to that effort have appointed Robert McCrory and Edward E. Watson as appraisors who being first duly sworn we have inventoried and appraised as follows towit, ---------

First ---- a tract of land situate in the aforesaid Parish and lying on the right bank of the Bayou Beouf adjoining on the upper to to land of Laster Guillory and on the lower side to the Domain having five arpens front by forty in depth appraised at twelve hundred and fifty dollars.$1250

2nd a tract of land situate in the aforesaid Parish and lying on the left bank of the bayou Beouf lands on the upper side by land of Lastie Fruger & on the lower side by land of Robert Mccrory having five
