There was a wake tonight at Labille Funeral Home in Ville Platte starting at 5:00.
There will be a wake held tomorrow at St. Landry Baptist Church starting at 2:00 P.M. The funeral services will be held Monday, but I do not know the time.

Walker Jr., Robert Roy A resident of Livingston, he passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 90. He was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army during the Battle of the Bulge under the command of Gen. George S. Patton. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Sunday, Feb. 18, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Monday, Feb. 19, from 8 a.m. to noon. Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, French Settlement, on Monday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Rubin Reynolds and Deacon Jimmy Little. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survived by his wife, Gloria Delatte Walker; daughters, Betty Tweedel, Carol Walker. Jane Bergeron, Judy Morse, Brenda Vincent and Sandra Walker; stepdaughter, Jackie Forman; stepsons, Roland and Ross Guitreau; sisters, Lois Emmon and Ivy Spears; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keith Majors, Eddie Jenkins, Dale Vincent Jr., Robert Richard, Kenny Bergeron and Patrick Bickham. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert Roy Sr. and Ruby Oliver Walker; stepson, Gill Guitreau; sisters and brothers, Sylvia Carpenter, Ruby Causey, Iris Grimball, Van Walker and Max and Maxine Walker.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Jackson Eugene Knight, 78, of Warren, Texas died Monday, October 28, 2002, at his residence.
A native of Boyce, Louisiana, he lived in Angleton, Texas 47 years before moving to Warren in 1998. He retired from Dow Chemical Company in 1982, after 31 years as operator and supervisor. He was a member and past deacon of The First Baptist Church of Angleton. He also belonged to The Good Sam Travel Club where he enjoyed several years of fun and fellowship.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 31, 2002, at The First Baptist Church of Angleton with burial to follow at Angleton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at Palms Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah B. Knight of Warren, Texas; one daughter, Pennie Sue Cleaver and husband Mike of Angleton; stepdaughter, Gwen Berard and husband James of Missoula, Montana; stepsons: Terry W. Knight and wife Stephanie of Lockport, Illinois, Raymond E. Knight and wife Regina of Warren; granddaughters: Heather Nicole and Kaysie Michelle Mayfield of Angleton; stepgrandchildren: Jayme Lee and Austin James Berard of Missoula, Montana, Andrew W. Knight and wife Kim of Ontario, Canada, Gregory A. Knight of Lockport, Illinois, Raymond E. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home, and his Masonic Rites Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m.
A native of Bayou Chicot, Louisiana, he was a long-time resident of Sulphur. He worked for many years at Carbon Black and IMC as a pipefitter/welder. After retiring, he spent his time raising horses and cows.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Whatley of Sulphur; son, Billy Wayne Whatley of Sulphur; five daughters, Sandra Provost and husband Michael of Kenner, LA., Amy Stanley and husband Chad of Sulphur, Tina Simmons and husband Robert of Sulphur, Lisa Desormeaux and husband Randy of Sulphur, and Pam Swinney and husband Mark of Sulphur; three sisters, Lottie Grunewald and husband Eddie of Summerville, TX., Clara Jousan of Brazoria, TX, and Mamie Stewart and husband Calvin of Brazoria; twenty-four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Vivian Whatley; and two sons, Jeffery Whatley and James Gilbert.
