Daughters

A daughter is a precious gift
That steals your heart.
A gift that will not tarnish
Or diminish with age.

Like all precious gems,
They are admired for their beauty,
Protected for their value,
And loved for their qualities.

I am proud of all of my daughters.
Each one is precious to me.
They have brought warmth and laughter
and joy to my heart all these years.
