Truths We Cannot See
We hear sounds within the air
Whispering truths for us to share.
They fill the voids in every lair,
Yet, not our thoughts whatso'er.
We see that which cannot be
In the things we seem to see.
We define our own reality
To avail our thoughts eternally.
We muse about the things before
Without trying to explore
A veiled mind that holds a score
Of truths we seem to ignore.
Our thoughts try to form in mind
The scenes we leave undefined
By our visions, which are so blind,
Yet shape our views of mankind.
We hear the sounds in their flight
As they seek to change to right
The thoughts we conjure, in spite
Of the truths we see by sight.
